I'm sad and demotivated while I have vacation and while I don't have vacation. Nothing changes.

I don't exactly have thigns in my way aside from joints..  but I doodle when I can over a period of time so I guess the holidays do give me inspiration in a sense.

Making jewelry is busiest around the holidays. The actual creativity happens quickly though, the rest of my hectic holiday work is just followthrough.

No because I lose my work ethic on holiday

You're forgetting that haveing a holiday can acctually by negative for your creative output.
School can offer a large variety of impulses and thoughts in all kinds of different directions while some people have lame vacations on the side which aren't as resourceful at all.
I'm pretty sure not everyone writes their ideas they get from school down to use in holidays, so that's a "too bad, but true" for some option.
I, however will attempt to produce arts within the times of my vacation, when they arrive again.
Not that it's something to look forward to for others, but for me quite so.
It's like being a poineer in known territory! - which sounds quite silly if you ask me ^^

Pretty much the "holiday season" is when I hit a low in creative willpower. I just can't bring myself to do much whether or not I have the time for it.

Usually the mid-point of Summer and around the ends of each semester at school, I start feeling more up-to doing art/writing/music.

I'm just very lazy

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but the way the question is worded doesn't really make sense with the answers given. At least, the simple "there is no change" answer doesn't make sense, because obviously the other two "no" answers are just that but with a reason given.
Maybe the question was supposed to say "does the season INCREASE your creative output?"

haha :D that's exactly what I was thinking
Sasiadragon Featured By Owner Dec 29, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
I think you're right about that. I think it was though as the 'no'-answers means 'I get less done', but it is worded wrong.

In my case it certainly does.

This was a hard poll to answer. I have less work and no studies, but I do have to work regardless of the time of year (rent and bills still need to be paid). With all the family Christmas commitments and general life things I need to do, I still need to make the time for my art. I can't really just shut myself away and work at it anymore. Therefore, I see no real change when it comes to my creative output.

Yeah. I haven't made anything nice in a month. :(

I tend to get Seasonal Affective Disorder around this time of year, and have trouble creating.
Anmaril Featured By Owner Dec 28, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
Definitly, but no option seems to suit for me. I paint the whole year every day as long as I can, the holidays are for other things, writing and just relaxing. Art is beautiful and I need it, but not now, it is good to take a break and get in touch with other things for a change.
evka8D Featured By Owner Dec 28, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Well, I have more time to create, but I also want to spent some time with my family and friends (and I have also some homeworks to do :))

I've been sick for the last week and it's getting worse, but I got an Intuos 5L for christmas and spent all day working with it! :D so amazing~
Naikoworld Featured By Owner Dec 28, 2012  Student General Artist
Actually my answer is not listed here, my creative output does changes, but in a bad way.
I tend to create less when I have too much free time, I create and feel inspired more often when I am busy with school and chores and such and I guess it's because I get oppressed therefore having a need to create more and express myself more; I specially draw a lot in math class because I hate it and just want to get a way with my stuff so I guess it's something like that.

Also when I'm on vacation I get too lazy as to take the time and energy required to draw and with christmas and new year and all those big things on my head I get too distracted as to get inspired or have the calm to draw.
