I really thought that last poll about snakes on a plane was stupid; but the symbols are good the way they are. I don’t like the senior member symbol, and the normal (paying) member symbol (that’s why I’m a beta tester); (they look unbalanced to me) but they’re still better than ‘cute graphics’

This pole (actually from Bulgaria) is marginally more sophisticated than the previous. Having said that, I do now expect some polynomial equations to be graphed pronto.

There's this disease called the freeway disease. It's when stupid, myopic and corrupt urban planners subscribe to this byzantine cult of road-worship - embarking on a journey of gridlock, road accidents, pollution, obesity, sprawl and social deprivation.

Hell, of course leave them where they are! Not only are they well established (for the majority at least I assume), but they're there for a reason. It's important, of not vital, for an online community (esp. this big as dA) to have some sort of cast system (as badly as this may "sound"), but there is a need for an instant recognition of each user. (Is it an admin, a user, a moderator, etc.)

There's just the right amount of them as well (I'd even go with a few more, if you ask me).

And, no, please don't change them, especially unwelcome are "cute little graphics" - like on last.fm. No please not!
